Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. The graceful Art Deco design of these fixtures makes them the perfect fit in today's homes.

Moderntone was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 - 42. Offered here is the salt & pepper shaker set in cobalt. excellent condition, see my other listings for more in this pattern in cobalt and amethyst.

Beaded Block was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1927 to about 1930. Pieces in this pattern are difficult to find and eagerly scooped up by collectors when they do surface. Offered here is the 6 1/2 inch 2 handled bowl in marigold iridescent. This shape is listed as the 'pickle dish'. Perfect condition, I have 4 available. Price is per bowl. This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque blue finish. This style is the 'Ballerina' lamp. The base shows 2 dancers in classic ballet pose. I have 2 available, price is per lamp. All have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) All are in good shape.

The Octagonal Children's set is the most plentiful shape Akro Agate made. Offered here are cup & saucers and plates from the large size Octagonal set. Moondrops was produced by New Martinsville Company from 1932 to 1940. Offered here is the 4 3/4 inch footed tumbler in perfect condition. This size is listed as the 'table tumbler' and holds 8-9 oz depending on how you fill it. The glass is a rich, ruby red color - more lovely in person. I have 12 available, price is per tumbler. These Akro Agate items are from the Large Interior Panel set (16 panels). The color is transparent topaz and was only made for one year (1935-6). This depression glass cream soup bowl is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the bowl is amethyst glass.(Hazel Atlas called this 'burgundy' in their ads, but it's a true amethyst.) Excellent condition. Normandie is a depression glass pattern often called by the carnival glass pattern name 'Bouquet and Lattice'. Produced from 1933 to 1939 by Federal Glass Company, it is the only iridescent depression glass pattern from that time period. This is the 10 1/2 inch oval vegetable bowl in excellent condition. These hand painted decanter bottles were produced by Imperial Glass Company. The shape is shown in the 1941 catalog with various cuttings and decoration. The hand painted flowers are enameled - they do not wash or scrape off the way cold paint would - and are the perfect compliment to FireKing's Peach Blossom decoration. I have 2 different styles. One has a round stopper, the other is more of an apothecary jar shape and has a long stopper...

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. These cup & saucer sets are the Small size transparent green color. Perfect condition, price is $30 per cup & saucer set. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. Old Colony is the correct name for the pattern that collectors have always called 'Lace Edge'. It was produced by Hocking from 1935 to 1938. Offered here is the cup & saucer set in pink. Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find.
