These hand painted decanter bottles were produced by Imperial Glass Company. The shape is shown in the 1941 catalog with various cuttings and decoration. The hand painted flowers are enameled - they do not wash or scrape off the way cold paint would - and are the perfect compliment to FireKing's Peach Blossom decoration. I have 2 different styles. One has a round stopper, the other is more of an apothecary jar shape and has a long stopper...

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the cup & saucer set in the rainbow treatment. The color is ruby flash applied over crystal glass. What makes this plate interesting is that the color is applied only to the outer edge of the plate, leaving the center crystal. This treatment was called 'rainbow' and is difficult to find...

This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in the ruby wash. (This color is a ruby wash applied over crystal glass. It has an almost opalescent quality to it when held to the light.) The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...

The Santa maria line was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1926 and items in this line are very difficult to find. Offered here is the #2566 Covered Cigarette Box in crystal. The cover depicts Columbus' flagship, the Santa Maria, while the bottom has dolphins on each side. Excellent condition. The original company ad reads, "Appeals to both men and women. Can be used for cigarettes or on a dresser or vanity to hold powder." (I keep tootsie rolls in mine....)

Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Pictured here is the 4 1/2 inch beaded edge berry bowl in excellent condition. Horseshoe is the collector's name for Indiana Glass Company's pattern No. 612. Produced from 1930 to 1933, it's a lovely pattern that's as popular today as it was when it was first made. Offered here is the sugar bowl in yellow. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

This beautiful vase was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is 'Chickadee' and shows 2 birds on each side. Approximately 6 1/2 inches tall, the color is called 'honey - it's a yellow ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #714 footed sundae dish (or sherbet). The color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. crystal. This powder jar was designed by Charles H. Oestreich of Brooklyn NY: the design was patented January 13, 1931. There is a pink elephant on the lid and the jar has an overall frosted finish. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Depression era dresser items.
