Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. Swirl was made by Jeannette Glass during the depression. The Ultramarine color was only produced for 1 year - from 1937 to 1938. The blue-green colored glass was very unstable and would burn easily, so production was limited. Offered here is the creamer in perfect condition. This ashtray is my one and only piece of Phoenix Glass - and what a wonderful item it is! This is the #263 Phlox pattern ashtray in the Sculptured Crystal treatment. (crystal glass with a blue ceramic wash applied.) The ashtray is the 5 1/2 inch size - the larger and much harder to find of the two sizes that were made in this pattern. Produced in 1938, it's a rare find indeed! Excellent condition.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1172 fan vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation. The vase is approximately 6 inches high and is done in a very interesting color treatment with a pink ceramic wash fired on over white glass. Excellent condition...
