The Cube, or Cubist, pattern was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It's often confused with Fostoria's American pattern and for good reason: both were designed by the same man. Moderntone was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 - 42. Offered here is the 5 3/4 inch bread & butter plate in amethyst. (Hazel Atlas called this color 'burgundy' when it was originally made, but it's a rich amethyst color.) Excellent condition, I have 2 plates available. Price is per plate.
