(Hazel Atlas called this color 'burgundy' when it was originally made, but it's a rich amethyst color. My picture looks a little too brown. Sorry.) Perfect condition. This depression era tumbler is part of the Sportsman series that was made by Hazel Atlas Company in the 1930's. 3 1/4 inches high, this is the 'heavy bottom tumbler' with the Windmills or Dutch decoration. This tumbler vase is part of the Martele Line produced by Consolidated Glass Company during the 1920's. The pattern is called 'Katydid', though it's usually referred to as the 'grasshopper' vase. 8 inches tall, the color of the glass is blue crystal. (The color is in the glass, not a wash applied over clear glass.) Excellent condition and very hard to find in this color.
