This vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the vase was produced in the late 1920's. The vase is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2753 Pine-Cone vase, and measures 6 1/2 inches high. The glass is light blue with a satin/acid etched interior to give more dimension to the details in the pattern. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Consolidated Glass.

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #715 flared bowl in blue crystal. (The color is the glass itself, not a fired on finish.) The bowl measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition. As these are hand worked to shape the upper edge, there is a slight variation in size and shape among the 4 bowls I have available. Price is per bowl. Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #714 footed sundae dish (or sherbet) in honey. The color is a yellow ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. crystal. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 3 1/2 inch cocktail tumbler in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.) The color is ruby flash applied over crystal glass. What makes this plate interesting is that the color is applied only to the outer edge of the plate, leaving the center crystal. This treatment was called 'rainbow' and is difficult to find...

The Santa maria line was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1926 and items in this line are very difficult to find. Offered here is the #2566 Covered Cigarette Box in crystal. The cover depicts Columbus' flagship, the Santa Maria, while the bottom has dolphins on each side. Excellent condition. The original company ad reads, "Appeals to both men and women. Can be used for cigarettes or on a dresser or vanity to hold powder." (I keep tootsie rolls in mine....)
