These Akro Agate items are from the Large Interior Panel set. The color is transparent green - also called 'jade trans optic' - and each piece has 16 panels. Old Colony is the correct name for the pattern that collectors have always called 'Lace Edge'. It was produced by Hocking from 1935 to 1938. Offered here is the 10 1/2 inch grill plate in pink. Iris & Herringbone was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 1932. Offered here is the 8 inch luncheon plate in excellent condition. These plates are often found with a satin finish and color wash on the reverse - this on is pastel blue. For more in this pattern, see my other listings.

This depression glass cream soup bowl is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the bowl is amethyst glass.(Hazel Atlas called this 'burgundy' in their ads, but it's a true amethyst.) Excellent condition. The Octagonal Children's set is the most plentiful shape Akro Agate made. Offered here are tumblers and teapot from this line. I have 4 yellow and 2 ivory tumblers for $20 each (either color). Also available is the hard to find blue teapot with open handle from the small size Octagonal set. Radiance is a very elegant Depression era pattern that was produced by New Martinsville Glass Company from 1936 to 1939. The pieces are ground and polished on the bottom edges and the color is very rich. Offered here is the 1 oz cordial in cobalt blue. 2 5/8 inches high, I have 2 available. Price is per stem. Although it's always been assumed to be an Akro Agate production, new research points to Alley Agate as the company of origin. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in the green satin finish. (The color is actually more teal blue than green.) This color is very hard to find because it was only made in 1938-9. Excellent condition, I have 4 available...

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1106 creamer in emerald green. Perfect condition, serving pieces are very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. I also have other items available so email if you need something in Catalonian.
