Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Pictured here is the 4 inch wine in excellent condition. This size holds 3 oz and is hard to find. The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 13 oz footed tumbler in amethyst. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. This shaker is part of the Windsor pattern made by Jeannette Glass from 1932 to 1946. Although only one is pictured, price is for a pair. One is perfect, the other has a tiny chip on the rim underneath the lid.! See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Sharon is one of the most widely recognized and collected depression glass patterns. Made by Federal Glass from 1935 to 1939, it is popular in pink, green and amber. These Akro Agate items are from the Large Interior Panel set (16 panels). The color is transparent topaz and was only made for one year (1935-6). Fostoria Glass Company made the 'Tut' vase in the mid 1920's when all things Egyptian were in style - along with the 'Art Deco' movement. This vase is 6 1/2 inches tall and in perfect condition. See my other listing for a green Tut vase to compliment this one.

The Newport or Hairpin pattern was made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's. The color is amethyst, though Hazel Atlas called it 'Burgundy' in the original ads. These beautiful plates were designed by Reuben Haley and produced by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. Approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter, the color is green ceramic wash over crystal.
