These Akro Agate items are from the Small Interior Panel set (18 panels). The colors are transparent topaz (made only in 1935-6) and transparent green ( called 'jade trans optic'). All pieces are in excellent condition and I have the following items available: 1 trans green cup & saucer set for $32, 1 trans green creamer for $75, and one trans green plate for $15. Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the 10 inch oval serving bowl in amber. There is some very light utensil markings in the bottom of the bowl, otherwise it's in excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Sunflower is a depression glass pattern that was made by Jeannette Glass Company during the 1930's. While the flat cake plates are common, finding tableware will require time and work. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 4 1/2 inch berry bowl in the green satin finish. (The color is actually more teal blue than green.) This color is very hard to find because it was only made in 1938-9. Excellent condition, I have 4 available...

Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. The graceful Art Deco design of these fixtures makes them the perfect fit in today's homes.

This vintage 11 1/4 inch glass shade has a raised fleur de-lis scroll pattern against a sort of parchment colored background...

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher. The style is called 'Tijuana' and it holds 34 oz. Perfect condition, see my other listings for matching tumblers to complete the set - and for more Crinkle items in different colors.

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. These assorted pieces are from the Large size Stippled Band set and are in excellent condition. They are priced as follows: teapot $70, sugar $50, creamer $28, and 2 cups at $20 each. The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors. Although this isn't listed with Manhattan in the catalogs, Hocking produced this cookie jar as a 'go with' item for the pattern. It was made during the same time period and sold along with Manhattan. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. These hand painted decanter bottles were produced by Imperial Glass Company. The shape is shown in the 1941 catalog with various cuttings and decoration. The hand painted flowers are enameled - they do not wash or scrape off the way cold paint would - and are the perfect compliment to FireKing's Peach Blossom decoration. I have 2 different styles. One has a round stopper, the other is more of an apothecary jar shape and has a long stopper...

Moonstone is the name of this opalescent hobnail pattern that was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1941 to 1946. Offered here is the heart shaped bonbon dish with one handle in excellent condition. The dish measures about 7 inches, depending on which direction you measure. I have 2 available, price is per dish. Christmas Candy is an Indiana Glass Company pattern that's named for its decorative border design. The Terrace green color - a rich blue-green - is highly sought after and very hard to find. The Cape Cod pattern was produced by Imperial Glass Company from 1932 through 1984 when they closed. Not all pieces were made throughout those years, but the long production period is testimony to its lasting popularity. Offered here is the #140 comport & lid in crystal that dates to the 1940's - 50's. The comport stands 10 inches high to the top of the knob handle and is 6 1/4 inches wide. Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Pictured here is the 4 inch wine in excellent condition. This size holds 3 oz and is hard to find.
