Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 3 1/2 inch tumbler in the rare white ceramic wash. I have 6 available, price is per tumbler. Moondrops was produced by New Martinsville Company from 1932 to 1940. Offered here is the 4 3/4 inch footed tumbler in perfect condition. This size is listed as the 'table tumbler' and holds 8-9 oz depending on how you fill it. The glass is a rich, ruby red color - more lovely in person. I have 12 available, price is per tumbler. This depression glass sherbet is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the color is amethyst, though Hazel Atlas called it 'Burgundy' in the original ads. Excellent condition, I have 3 available. Price is per sherbet. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

These Akro Agate items are from the Large Interior Panel set (16 panels). The color is transparent topaz and was only made for one year (1935-6). Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. The graceful Art Deco design of these fixtures makes them the perfect fit in today's homes.
This vintage 10 1/4 inch glass shade has a raised wheat pattern against a pink background, with crystal edging and center accents...

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 13 oz footed tumbler in amethyst. The tumbler is 5 1/4 inches high and in perfect condition. I have 8 available, price is per tumbler. See my other listings for more Crinkle items in different colors.

This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque blue finish. This style is the 'Ballerina' lamp. The base shows 2 dancers in classic ballet pose. I have 2 available, price is per lamp. All have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) All are in good shape.

The Octagonal Children's set is the most plentiful shape Akro Agate made. Offered here are cup & saucers and plates from the large size Octagonal set. Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. These cup & saucer sets are the Small size transparent green color. Perfect condition, price is $30 per cup & saucer set. Iris & Herringbone was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 1932. Offered here is the 8 inch luncheon plate in excellent condition. These plates are often found with a satin finish and color wash on the reverse - this on is pastel blue. For more in this pattern, see my other listings.

This depression glass cream soup bowl is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. These hand painted decanter bottles were produced by Imperial Glass Company. The shape is shown in the 1941 catalog with various cuttings and decoration. The hand painted flowers are enameled - they do not wash or scrape off the way cold paint would - and are the perfect compliment to FireKing's Peach Blossom decoration. I have 2 different styles. One has a round stopper, the other is more of an apothecary jar shape and has a long stopper...

The Octagonal Children's set is the most plentiful shape Akro Agate made. Offered here are tumblers and teapot from this line. I have 4 yellow and 2 ivory tumblers for $20 each (either color). Also available is the hard to find blue teapot with open handle from the small size Octagonal set. Radiance is a very elegant Depression era pattern that was produced by New Martinsville Glass Company from 1936 to 1939. The pieces are ground and polished on the bottom edges and the color is very rich. Offered here is the 1 oz cordial in cobalt blue. 2 5/8 inches high, I have 2 available. Price is per stem.
