It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - done in a rare color treatment. The vase is crystal with honey yellow ceramic wash at the top edge. This treatment is often referred to as 'rainbow' due to the bands of color...

This beautiful comport was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. Approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter, 3 inches high. Color is yellow ceramic wash over crystal. Perfect condition. See my other listings for a matching comport in green and another in purple.

The pattern is called 'Olives', though some feel they look more like plums... The bowl is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2746 Olive console bowl, and measures 8 inches in diameter...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the 5 1/2 inch goblet in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.)
