The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Offered here is the 9 inch dinner plate in marigold in excellent condition. Hex Optic is one of the earlier depression patterns. It was made by Jeannette Glass from 1928 to 1932 and used extensively in their kitchenware lines. Offered here is the ice bucket in green in excellent condition. This version has the pour spout so that a reamer can be inserted and the bucket serves double duty. it comes with the original metal handle & serving tongs. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. This powder jar was designed by Charles H. Oestreich of Brooklyn NY: the design was patented January 13, 1931. There is a pink elephant on the lid and the jar has an overall frosted finish. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Depression era dresser items.

The Cube, or Cubist, pattern was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It's often confused with Fostoria's American pattern and for good reason: both were designed by the same man.
