This beautiful comport and liner plate was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Iris', though it looks like wild roses to me.... The comport or mayo bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter, the under plate is 7 inches in diameter. This tumbler vase is part of the Martele Line produced by Consolidated Glass Company during the 1920's. The pattern is called 'Katydid', though it's usually referred to as the 'grasshopper' vase. 8 inches tall, the color of the glass is blue crystal. (The color is in the glass, not a wash applied over clear glass.) Excellent condition and very hard to find in this color.

Consolidated Glass Company produced their Florentine line in 1927. It is an acid etched all over pattern that is very hard to find. In fact, Florentine items are among the most difficult Consolidated pieces to collect. Offered here is the 12 inch urn vase in the coffee brown color. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in the ruby wash. (This color is a ruby wash applied over crystal glass. It has an almost opalescent quality to it when held to the light.) The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...
