This depression glass cream soup bowl is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the bowl is amethyst glass.(Hazel Atlas called this 'burgundy' in their ads, but it's a true amethyst.) Excellent condition. The Octagonal Children's set is the most plentiful shape Akro Agate made. Offered here are tumblers and teapot from this line. I have 4 yellow and 2 ivory tumblers for $20 each (either color). Horseshoe is the collector's name for Indiana Glass Company's pattern No. 612. Produced from 1930 to 1933, it's a lovely pattern that's as popular today as it was when it was first made. These beautiful plates were designed by Reuben Haley and produced by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. Approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter, the color is green ceramic wash over crystal.
