Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in pink cased glass. (A layer of pink glass over an inner milk-white layer, this treatment is very rare as it was only made from 1938 to about 1940.)The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition...

The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 6 1/2 inch high juice or martini pitcher. Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This 16 piece set is the Small size Stippled Band and includes the teapot and lid, 4 plates, 4 cups & saucers, sugar & creamer. There is a flake off the underside of the teapot lid, all the rest of the pieces are in very good condition. See my other listings for more Akro Agate Child sets.

This powder jar was designed by Charles H. Oestreich of Brooklyn NY: the design was patented January 13, 1931. There is a pink elephant on the lid and the jar has an overall frosted finish. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Depression era dresser items.

Sunflower is a depression glass pattern that was made by Jeannette Glass Company during the 1930's. While the flat cake plates are common, finding tableware will require time and work. Horseshoe is the collector's name for Indiana Glass Company's pattern No. 612. Produced from 1930 to 1933, it's a lovely pattern that's as popular today as it was when it was first made. Sharon is one of the most widely recognized and collected depression glass patterns. Made by Federal Glass from 1935 to 1939, it is popular in pink, green and amber. The Chiquita sets of children's dishes was made for J Pressman Company of New York. Although it's always been assumed to be an Akro Agate production, new research points to Alley Agate as the company of origin. Pictured is an assortment of items in transparent cobalt and also the hard to find baked on colors...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Originally produced in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in the green satin finish. (The color is actually more teal blue than green.) This color is very hard to find because it was only made in 1938-9. Excellent condition, I have 4 available...

The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors. Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the 10 inch oval serving bowl in amber.
